Karma

It is a widely accepted tenet that people will end up getting what they deserve.

  • People who work hard should end up rich.
  • People who are bad shall be castigated.
  • People who are noble shall have their dreams come true.

Unfortunately, we still see the opposite often.

  • Many hard workers still struggle to make ends meet.
  • Machiavellianism thrives in today’s world.
  • Many well-meaning people are exploited.

The world is inherently unfair. To some extent, the law of cause and effect is effectual through human behavior because most people like to reciprocate. You are likely going to get the same treatment as you give to others.

We can stop demanding the world to be fair.
